Family vacay to Pontianak and KL
A little birdie told me that this trip is going to be one of those bad decisions i make, just so i could visit another country to keep me entertained before it hits 2016. My parents decided to bring me along for a week long vacation to Pontianak and Kuala Lumpur. The whole trip was filled with laughter, family time and lots of diarrhea.
I thought to myself, riding a bus to Pontianak from Brunei is one of those "new things achieved" i need to tick off out of my checklist and i cant believe it happened. We hopped on the bus, called Damri, and spent 27 hours in a crampy pungent tangy smelled bus. Imagine the smell coming out from b.o and the toilet at the back of the bus. I swear to you, its like trash creeping in.
As Dangdut filled the bus with its sultry (or should i say slutty) voice, i couldn't help myself to put on blast to Ariana Grande's song, Focus. I looked out the window and found myself in the middle of nowhere as darkness fall upon us and that lighting strikes in front of me. I thought to myself this would look good in pictures. lol. The others was just sleeping while my family was so hype, they danced and got in their groove om at midnight till the crack of dawn.
We arrived at the Entikong borders, Tebedu, to get our passport stamped. It was one of those moments where you think that you were gonna die because it was the ghetto-est place you've ever encountered. People were rude, crazy and very highly corrupt. That bothered me as much as i was drenched in sweats, exotic smells and bound to break and rip my ass off , as i haven't poop since yesterday.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by my little brother's in laws. Checked in, Food were served and started exploring the city. I was quite impressed with what Pontianak has to offer. I'm going to stop talking now and let the video speaks for itself.
