I see that my blog had been collecting dust over these past two weeks now. The reason for my lack of updates are due to the workloads i been having. Right~ I was busy, living the moment. But, i am now here to tell you the gist of what i've been up to.
Firstly, there was this night in campus when we heard a loud noise outside our dormitory. It was a celebration, a "welcome back to school" kinda celebration for the students. There was performances, from dancing to singing and even beat-boxing. The place was filled with students. It happened on the night before the school reopens. All the students from different districts came back to their dorm to settle down and actually enjoying the company of their friends before school starts. Along the road, there was break dancers, rollerbladers, glee club and people eating 'kuaci'. I have to say fpt's students are way more active than UBD's students.
During that celebration, we witnessed a couple of performances that made us squint of embarrassment which soon broke into laughter. A group of guys tried to beatboxed but failed miserably. Apart from that, there was also a sweet couple singing a love song. Come on, it wouldnt be complete if there wasnt a couple dressed in black and white, trying their best to swoon their audience, right? Haha!
The celebration was held at the football field where you can see a couple of stalls selling drinks with a mock up price. One booth caught our attention; face painting booth. The girls went nuts and decided to paint their faces like cats. I have to say They do make a good impression of being my (pussies)cat. Get it? Get it?
Secondly, there was this night where me and my bruneian friends taught the japanese (Masa & Satsuki) some bruneian slangs and one of them can be seen in this video.
It was hilarious! They did a perfect impression of a Bruneian but obviously, they didn't know what it meant until we told what it was. Funny slangs and stories were exchanged between both the Bruneians and the Japanese.
Thirdly, the day i payed a visit to Joma, a canadian gourmet, located at the west lake - 40 minutes away from uni (i think). My friend, Nazurah, recommended the place. We were accompanied by a funny yet crazy loud boy named Rolland. These two people are the funniest. The place was very cosy and the food was ahmazing. Although the price was a bit expensive, but it was sure worth the money.
Fourthly, that jobless night with Nazurah. Nazurah will always be known as the girl who shaved my legs or the girl who made my legs hurt like hell. It happened when we had nothing to do and we were so bored. I told her that i needed to shave my legs and she offered to help me do it. After finishing shaving my legs, we decided to pamper ourselves with masks that we bought from Big C. It was pretty cheap, probably costs around 10,000 which is about 60 cents each.
Lastly, the night where bandanna girls went on an adventure. it was simply more to a bike ride around the neighborhood than having an adventure. I never rode a bike before so i guess i can say that was an adventure. Plus, its in Hanoi. I just have to try it. Sam drove us to places we've never been before. We pretty much spent that night on a bike, passing through shops and gas stations.
Oh, also, i ate a chicken. Not the ordinary kind but the one served with the head kind.
